Born in 1959 in Leningrad, Daniel Strich started attending art classes sponsored by the Hermitage Museum by the age of 10.
By 18, he was sure that photography was to become his artistic medium.

Daniel immigrated to Israel in 1990, where he is currently an anesthesiologist in one of the major hospitals. Photography remains the love of his life (second only to his wife and two daughters).

In the past 2 years Daniel has won major awards in International Photography Exhibits in Canada and Hong-Kong.

Several of his works have been sold at shows in Israel and Russia. Twelve of his works have been chosen by a publishing house to be featured in a promotional catalog, which will be printed in December.

In September 2000, Daniel participated in the art exibition at the Jerusalem International Conventional Center.

For last two years, several exhibitions took place in New York and New Jersey.

In March 2002, Daniel participated in St.Petersburg.
